How its done?

  1. After a brief assesment with the acupuncturist, He/she will let you know the treatment points, modalities and plan. 
  2. The area to be needled will be palpated and located. Its then sterilized with a 70% alcohol cotton/wipe, let it air dry.
  3. A sterile single use disposable needle is inserted into the located point. The needle is left in place for a specific amount of time which differs according to your treatment needs. during that time the needle may be manipulated a little.
  4. After that specified time your acupuncturist will be removing that needle and place it in an sharps container which is to be disposed off later.
